Our Policies and Guidelines

To ensure a seamless and enjoyable experience at Starlight Lodge Cape Cod, we ask that you take a moment to familiarize yourself with our policies and guidelines. Once booked, your consent is deemed agreed upon with our policies. Your understanding and cooperation play a crucial role in making your stay with us a comfortable and memorable one and we care about your stay, so please help us make it a good one with respect to policies for all guests to benefit.

Reservation and Cancellation Policies:  Reciept of policies with confirmation becomes acknowledgement of all policies listed below. Please contact us for any questions. 

Third Party Reservations

All third party reservations (i.e. Booking.Com, Expedia etc.) MUST be canceled through those sites. Starlight Lodge can not cancel or remove you from our reservations. Failure to do so will result in 100% charge of reservation. Cancellations subject to a $25/service charge, deposits will be refunded if notice of cancellation is received 14 days in advance of scheduled arrival. If cancellation is made on shorter notice, or if a guest finds it necessary to leave the Starlight Lodge prior to the expiration of the period reserved, no refunds will be granted.

Check-In and Check-Out

Check in time is between 4:00-8:00pm. Check out time is before 10:00am. Please Call and arrange for late check in if arriving after 8pm. 

Credit card will be charged for balance. Rates are subject to change and are based on double occupancy per bed. We DO NOT have roll away beds or air mattresses. 

Deposits

Hotel Room Deposits

 A 50% of stay at booking, plus tax at time of reservation. This will guarantee your reservation. The remaining balance will be processed 14 days prior to your check in date if no cancellation is requested. If you cancel before the 14 day cancellation period, your balance will be refunded less a $25 processing fee. If cancellation occurs within the cancellation period, the whole balance will be forfeited and no refunds will be made. We may require full payment at reservation for special events and holiday stays. Group reservations cancellation policy may vary.

Suites and Captain William's

Suites and Captain William's House require 50% of stay at booking, plus tax, non-refundable. All balances due upon arrival. No Shows will forfeit 100% of reservation and or deposit.

Pets

Dog Friendly - $50.00 per night subject to availability. All dogs MUST BE LEASHED AND ARE NOT PERMITTED IN COMMON AREAS. (OFFICE, POOL, ETC) A signed pet policy must be on file.

Smoking

MASSACHUSETTS STATE LAW PROHIBITS SMOKING INSIDE OF ALL HOTELS AND WITHIN 50 FEET OF ANY OVER HANG. SMOKING IN DESIGNATED AREA ONLY WHEN FREE OF MINORS. There will be a $250.00 non-refundable fee for deep cleaning services charged to any room that has been smoked in to restore it back to its non-smoking condition.

Property Damage

Damage or theft to the property, including but not limited to guest rooms, carpets, fixtures, furnishings, artwork, décor or LINENS will result in a charge of 150% of fair replacement value or necessary cleaning, including self tanner and or hair color stains. Please help us keep our rates down by respecting our rooms and linens.
